For collectors of Murano glass and as a dramatic focal point on a console, low sideboard or pedestal in modern, minimalist or eclectic interiors.

Battuto is a traditional Venetian glass-cutting technique in which the surface is worked with a grinding wheel to create a dense, faceted texture. Used especially on Murano glass, it gives the object a softly shimmering, almost velvety look while also adding depth and weight to the form. The technique became particularly associated with mid-century Italian glass, where it was often used to emphasize clean silhouettes through a finely hand-finished surface.
