XXL ceramic floor vase from Scheurich’s “Pagoda” series, finished in a vivid Fat Lava glaze shifting from lava black to oxblood, fiery red, and orange. The bold tiered form and heavily textured central band capture the expressive character of West German ceramics of the 1970s, for which Scheurich became one of the best-known producers.
