A richly decorated porcelain bowl by Rosenthal, executed in the celebrated Chippendale form and finished with a vibrant green ground and paradise bird decoration. The undulating Chippendale rim is highlighted with delicate gilding, giving the piece a Rococo-inspired character, while at the centre a hand-painted paradise bird motif in gold, ivory, blue and red unfolds against stylised foliage and blossoms.
