KPM Bavaria (often marked “Royal Porzellan Bavaria KPM Germany) is a Bavarian porcelain manufacturer active mainly in the mid- to late-20th century, known for finely cast tableware and decorative pieces such as vases, bowls and sculptural bisque objects. Typical are clean, modern forms, crisp white porcelain and, in the 1960s–70s, relief and Op-Art style surfaces associated with the West German design language. The “KPM” in this mark is not related to the older Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin, but denotes a separate Bavarian maker whose work is now appreciated as good-quality vintage porcelain from the postwar era.
