Its icy relief gives the piece a strong visual rhythm while keeping the overall look restrained and elegant.

This vase works especially well in interiors that need texture without extra color. The clear glass keeps it light, while the Eisglas surface brings in depth and a shifting play of reflections. Beautiful on the floor beside a sofa, near a window, or on a stone or chrome pedestal where the light can move through it.
Peill & Putzler was a German glass manufacturer based in Düren. The company combined the older Putzler glass tradition, founded in 1869, with Peill und Sohn, founded in 1903, and operated as Peill & Putzler from 1947 onward. It became especially known in the postwar decades for modern lighting and textured decorative glass, and was also a founding member of the German Design Council in 1953.
